Rolex Middle Sea Race

Along with the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Rolex Sydney - Hobart Race, this is one of the three "Classic" Offshore Yacht Races; it is also one of the most beautiful offshore race courses in the world. The race starts and finishes in Malta and takes you round Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, including Stromboli which is a permanently erupting volcano, and the islands of Pantelleria and Lempedusa, a distance of approx 607 nautical miles.

As a warm up, there is a Coastal Race off Malta in the week before the main race which starts on 18 October.
